As OTS has pointed out in the past it appears that Alabama is at least considering redshirting BJ Scott for this year. It would seem very likely now that we are entering SEC play, and unless there is an injury or two I doubt he will see time.

The good news for Scott next year, is that three of the top four cornerbacks will be gone (Rogers, Arenas, and Johnson). Right now the only guys on the roster, besides Scott, that would legitimately be competing for playing time next year would be: Phelon Jones (LSU transfer), Dre Kirkpatrick, Robby Green, and Kareem Jackson. I put Robby Green in there as we look to have a little more depth at safety.
