RBR Get Together - Bama/Arkansas

We had an improptu get together at Egan's yesterday prior to the game. It was great to see BamaVicki, Lilsis, and Chinesedentist again, and it was awesome to finally meet BenVCobra. Great times were had, even though it was far too short. Vicki and I are already planning on meeting at Egan's more often this year, and invite any of you to chill with us and enjoy great fellowship while enjoying the games and a hell of a bartender in ChineseDentist. I was a huge fan of the old Houndstooth, but Egan's has become my favorite bar as it is tremendous atmosphere. Couple that with the fact no teeth were lost, and I was completely sober all day, it was the best gameday experience I have ever had.
I also have to say I love the new videos added to the pregame. Awesome. And FINALLY, after me asking for years, we have bad ass CGI elephants with tribal tattoos. F'n awesome!

I thought you were crazy but elephants with tattoos. One day, my friend I too will see the glory in that. Until then I’ll have to hang pregame. It was good to see you again.

I always have a big get together at my house with a small keg of kraft beer (lazy magnolia , good people ) and cook out. Just a bunch of down to earth bama fans . After that we watch the rest of the games or go out some where and watch some more football. You’d be more then welcome if you wanted to stop by.

was great to meet all of you as well. Egan’s provided us safe cover until the weather rain finally subsided. I’m somewhat embarrassed to say it was my first venture to Egan’s but it certainly won’t be my last. Roll Tide.

I am usually much more animated and talkative but I was recovering from the flu I had early that week and was still feeling a little weak. Hopefully you can make it back soon and we can hang for a couple hours before a game. It was awesome meeting you Ben!

think anything of it, I completely understand. I arrived a bit later than I had originally intended, but so it goes when you hitch a ride with someone else. I certainly plan on making many trips back, so there will be no shortage of opportunities.

A lot lot of people think its scary. I’d go there if I didn’t work there its just a little less touristie. Its got a nice dive bar charm. I do pride myself on making people feel welcome and at some places you feel like cattle. It was nice to but a face to you and you and your lady friend are always welcome. Like I said next time I might even have time to talk some football and introduce you to some other people,like both dudes from Tower of bammer and if we’re lucky nico 2.0 will come out of hiding and pop by.

I’m having to work almost every weekend. It’s killing me man. Absolutely killing me. The only weekends I haven’t had to work so far are for away games. I’m hoping I can make South Carolina or Chattanooga. Almost no chance of making Tennessee or LSU as it currently stands.

I have been missing you there hopefully at least one game you can make it. Jermey I’ll get you a cherry seat at the bar. I place people with seats as friends leave for the game so at worst you’ll get a front row seat. Nico there is always a seat for you.

The stadium was much louder than I have seen it in a while in person. I can’t wait until we close in that north end zone and it becomes deafening!

I loved the old ‘tooth, but Egan’s is nice. My friend loved it; said she wanted to come down and hang out some more. It was more crowded than usual cause of the rain, but still a ton of fun. Love little dives like that. Plus people are friendly, and CD is a hell of a bartender. Amarretto and lime? FTW!
The new Houndstooth SUCKS! Only good thing is having big Bad BBQ availability from within. The rest looks like a cross between a barn and Sam’s.
