Glen Coffee takes over RB duties for 49ers.

PrintAccording to the WWL, 49ers starting running back Frank Gore is scheduled for an MRI on the injured ankle that took him out of Sunday's losing effort against the Vikings. In his absence our erstwhile workhorse Glen Coffee took over as the #1 Running Back for the 49ers. He only managed 54 yards on 25 carries after taking over for Gore in the first quarter.
Lets hope he has some better showings if Gore is out for an extended period.

spoke highly of him all throughout the preseason weeks and several agreed that they saw potiential in him to have a good career. I Hope he is able to take full advantage of this situation and make the most of it to further his career!
