Alabama Football: Where Amazing Happens
I don't know who youtube user btpbama is but I know how he spent his summer vacation. In the past two months he has posted a series of Alabama football fan vids loosely based on the NBA promotional campaign "Where Amazing Happens" produced by San Francisco-based Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.
These spots have been pretty common fodder for homage/parodies on the interwebs ever since but btpbama does it right by letting the images speak for themselves. If these don't get you excited about Saturday, it's highly probable you are dead.

Just WOW...
“I don’t know who youtube user btpbama is”
but I think I LOVE him!!! I cried my way through them over and over and over again.
You had me at "ROLL TIDE"!!!
Several items from the great replays
You had to love Cody running down the field on Arenas interception, McCoy getting just enough in the way on 2 defenders on Coffee’s second TD (although we will miss Andre hurdling him as Coffee goes into the end zone). I watched the Bama Texas Tech Cotton Bowl this week and these videos reminded me of two things from that game. Brodie seemed to always overthrow his rceivers on deep throws, except on the “Catch” where Prothro was able to make a great play. Hopefully McElroy will let our receivers have a chance to catch the long balls, 6 years of overthrown balls is enough. The second was the way Harper made some hugh, vicious hits, hopefully Barron will make some of those this year.
although i agree about the overthrown balls...
that’s what you’re supposed to do. an overthrow on a deep ball is better than an underthrow. not many overthrows get intercepted.
I kind of want

I think my favorite...
…is the one where Jerrell Harris blocks the punt and Julio Jones takes it in for a TD.

Chris Rogers?
I think that was the other #8, but I could be misremembering.

It's a joke...
Upchurch and Rogers have the same numbers as Harris and Jones. Hopefully, the CBS broadcasting crew will figure that out this year!?!
Danielson while observing Chris Rogers on the sideline last year: “and Jones is NOT on the field… Oh, no, wait, there he is.” At least they showed some love for Orlando McCain!
The last Julio Jones one is classic...
Just standing there, he is amazing – he doesn’t even have to do anything. Amazing is the essence of his very being.
