Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

Verily, the Chuch of Saban has returned

Many Alabama fans, myself included, really enjoyed the musings of The Reverend Doctor, a mysterious figure who delighted readers with his pre-game "prophecies" that read like they came right out of a Tolkien novel.  Unfortunately, it seemed that the losses to Florida and Utah were too much for him to take, and he vanished...some thought forever.

Well, at BryantDrive we took it upon ourselves to track him down.  We found him living in a cave along the banks of the Black Warrior River, where he had been deep in meditation.  At first, he was loathe to speak to us...but an offer of a free quarter pounder with cheese and a case of Old Milwaukee quickly loosened his tongue.  He told us that during his meditation, "The Dark Lord Saban came to me in a dream, and he told me to go into the wilderness, and there I would find new texts that tell of his greatness.  He asked me if I would seek them out, and I said, 'aight.'"

Thankfully, the Reverend Doctor, after a much needed bath, has agreed to share his insights with us once again...this time, at BryantDrive.  We can only hope his wisdom brings to us enlightenment.....and much ad revenue.  His tale of the "battle" to come is now up for your perusal.

Celebrate good times COME ON!

I loved his COS blogs. I also enjoy the humor over at Bryant-Drive, but I hope he’ll return to posting on his own site rather sooner than later!

Roll Tide!

After spending seven wondrous years in the state of Alabama, never in my life have I seen fans, who claim to be loyal to one team, spend more time AUbsessing over the other more so than they do their very own.

I love

his blog as well, i have been checking the last week or two to see if it would return.

Auburn fans are like slinkys... not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Same here!

Please keep this wonderful COS going! VERY funny. There should be some type of award for applying this genre to football. Liked the pic of Julio catching a snapper.

Life is good! Football is tomorrow!!! Leave your worries behind—it’s football time.

And guess what else? No worries about RAIN!!! Seeya at the Dome. We will be in the verizon club seats on the VT side because on ebay, supply and demand rule. We opted for great padded, big seats on the VT club level for the same price as Bama nosebleed seats.
