The Bearable Lightness of Being Mt. Cody

There was a lot of skepticism before the season that Mt. Cody had actually slimmed down to the 354 lbs. as the 2009 Alabama Football Media Guide claims (the roster offers a more reasonable 365 lbs). Before the game on Saturday he claimed "I’m lighter than I was last year and stuff. I just feel a lot better” and after the game, as you can see, he demonstrated he wasn't kidding. And while the big man didn't get a lot attention in the wake of the win over the Hokies, our own OTS pointed out, his contribution was evident in the Virginia Tech running stats - 31 carries for 64 yards.
