RBR: What do you all know about this?
Being that I know how we Horns love Muschamp, I was wondering what you all know about this situation regarding Kirby...

BTW, congrats on a hard fought victory. Pride oozes from every Texas fan and Bama fan alike. Hope to cross paths with you again next season with the same stakes. I love Ingram...dude is a beast. Trent Richardson is scary quick...almost like you have a double punch of Emmitt Smith and Adrian Peterson types (TR is a bit smaller IMHO). And McClain? Wow...enough said. Just a brilliant football player with superb instincts. I myself and looking forward to the growth of Garrett Gilbert as a prototypical QB. He learned a lot in the game and should be ready for the RRS next October.
Anyhow, great season and only 235 days or so until football Saturday!! Hook'Em and Roll Tide!

Gilbert was impressive in the second half
given the situation he was in. I think he is going to be a great one for you guys moving forward.
You play fast, you play strong, you go out there and dominate the guy you play against, and make his ass quit! That's our trademark, that's our MO as a team, aight, that's what people know us as! - Nick Saban, 2008
We'd hate to lose him
but I think we’ll survive without him, honestly. If it’s a chance to go home (and perhaps pick up a Muschamp-style HCIW spot), then it’s a good move for CKS and I wish him all the best, except of course against Bama. I think his chances of landing a BCS HC job are better if he sticks here for a couple more years, but it’s not always about that.
You guys have been great opponents, very classy, and I have to respect the hell out of your teams, coaches, and fanbase. What a great matchup! I hate like hell that we weren’t able to complete the bests vs. bests matchup everyone wanted, but your boys really pulled it together and showed what a great team and organization you have. GG is going to be a great one, and I hope we can get a rematch next year in Tempe. (Tempe?)
Congrats on a terrific season.
Technically Glendale I believe...

But I hear the views from all around inside are superb...thoughts?

I was on the 10th Row
so it was a good view anyway, but looking around it didn’t seem like there was any place that you could reasonably call “nosebleed”

yea
good view but once you’re in YOU’RE IN
it’s hard as hell to get to the seats and better pray you don’t have to piss cause its gunna take you an hour to get there

No kidding...
40 minute round trip to get a beer and take a leak…not to mention several fights I witnessed b/c of all the disorganiztion…The Rose Bowl was great, but I honestly expected alot better crowd management than they provided. You would think they would have that down by now.

Looking forward to rematches in the future too. Gilbert looks very promising. Just watching him gain composure and bring you guys back was scary. A championship game all around.
You can't win. You can't break even. You can't get out of the game.
Definitely
Sure, his stats weren’t great, but when you look at the situation he was thrown into, and the way he really picked it up in the second half, I think he will be a force to be reckoned with in the future.

A Horn's fan here
said from his eyes , looked like he was scared to death when he went in. I’m sure he was on a huge stage like that. They’d have probably still been lookin for me.
Gilbert looked more settled in the 3rd and gained momentum against a great defense. I think because of this y’all know more about your QB situation going into next year than we did coming into this year.
Lookin forward to a rematch especially since we finally got a win against y’all!

Gilbert has nothing...
to hang his head about. I agree that he looked scared initially. And why wouldn’t he? His playing should give you guys confidence for next year.
Hey Gilbert
may make you guys forget about Colt McCoy.
But the guy you are going to miss is Shipley.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
This was meant as a reply to Billy.
I swear I’m not drunk y’all! Is there any place to watch a replay of the game online? If so please post a link.
