According to the one of the Nascar news sites, Aaron's will use the above pictured scheme commemorating Alabama's BCS national championship on the #00 car of David Reutimann on April 25th, 2010 at the Sprint Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway. In any event, I can't say I'm the biggest fan, but to each his own.

Awesome.
Too bad I’m not a Reutimann fan so won’t be pulling for him, but this is cool.
Has this ever been done before?
Yes...
I remember about 10 years ago, Ricky Craven — naturally, driving the Tide car — had a special ’Bama scheme. Looked awful, constipated elephant if I recall correctly.

A bit tacky
Leave it to NASCAR to whore itself out to another sport entirely.
The main reason I can’t stand NASCAR? They’ll slap an ad on anything… How can you take your sport seriously with so many ads everywhere… stupid rednecks don’t seem to care, and I hate to generalize like that but damn… show at least SOME class NASCAR!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Everything in a bunch of American sports would be sold too if the leagues let them. Didn’t they try putting ads on bases in baseball recently but MLB stepped in.
Sort of...
… actually, MLB tried to put Spiderman logos on the bases for the All-Star Game a few years back as part of a promotion for the (then) new movie. Nader and a lot of other people raised pure hell over it, and they pulled back on it.

Lulz
A small thing that gets me is why on earth a beer sponsor would put their logo on a car that goes 200 mph and at any moment could crash? That’s not a very good endorsement. Also to me, it sends a bad message. Drinking…..driving……crashing……those three things to go together very well.
Classic.
