second half back on
just ordered one of those new dominos pizzas. Hope they don’t suck!
What you're seeing is team spirit. It's like the Holy Spirit, but more powerful.

Problem was
the zone and teams will play it on us now. Who can hit from outside?
Torrance played great. Hillman needs to know which shots he can make and which shots he can’t make and then pass the ball.
Good team, probably still a year or two away from being a top 25 team. Need to win Sat!!
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
Bama bb
good game tonight the best team won…………… has a road team in the SEC ever shot 39 freethrows to 17 for the home team when we get some players this team will roll ,,,,,RTR
heartbreaking
All we need to do was knock down just one of those wide open 3s in the 2nd half.
Torrance played a hell of a game.
Green had one of his worst performances. We need both him and Torrance to produce pretty much every single game to be a winning SEC team.
Hillman I thought played a good game except for the silly fouls. We really could have used him on both ends of the floor those last 3 or 4 minutes.
Hines and Knox defended the post fairly well, but we gave up too many offensive rebounds in the second half.
Mitchell gave us some good minutes. We need to see more of that from him.
Again, we really needed Charvez Davis to knock down more than one of those six threes he put up, but he’s a good shooter and they were mostly good shots.
With all due respect to Anthony Brock, who played really good defense for most of the game and limited Vandy’s looks from deep, he’s not the guy we want taking it coast to coast with the game on the line. I know we tried to get it to Torrance, but there was no way 5’9" Brock was making it all the way to the rim.
This puts a lot of pressure on us to stay above .500 with a road win in Fayetteville this weekend.
With our razor-thin margin for error for this season, it’s really tough to take a 1-point loss at the buzzer, even to a good team like Vandy. Anytime you lose at the buzzer you can point to so many “ifs”, “ands”, and “buts”…
Roll Tide. It’s a process guys.
Zone worked really well against us. What do we have to do better do beat the zone, make threes ?

HEARTBREAKER
I watched the entire game , and came away very dissapointed. I watch a good bit of bball, and there aren’t many games when the home team shoots 20+ less free throws than the visitors.I don’t want to take anything away from Vandy, but we should have won that game.
The lack of fouls
against Vandy is a surprsing especially when you consider that our inside guys, though smaller than Vandy, are quicker than Vandy. I know one of their big guys fouled out and Ogilvy had 4 fouls, but still you would figure that we would get as many fouls as Vandy got.
Still, if we could shoot decent from outside we would have won easily. From the time Torrance got called for the charge, which could have gone either way, I think the team scored just two more points. I guess when Torrance got 4 fouls he backed down a little. Until then he was pretty unstoppable. Somebody needed to step up and no one could.
