Willis Agrees In Principle To Sign With Tech
Good luck to you, sir. Hell of a coach, in my opinion; and his hard work and dedication to the programs he has coached for is paying off.

Color me unsuprised...
Successful programs beget attrition through the assistant ranks…Which is what Saban encourages, no doubt.

The good thing
with Saban is we don’t even worry when we lose a coach because we know Saban will bring in someone just as good or better. Saban has the best eye for players and coaching talent. Last year when he brought in Sal from the NFL I really didn’t know much about him but now Sal is up for recruiter of the year and also helped improve our passrushing.
This upcoming season I'm gonna refer to Julio Jones as "The Magic Man" and Trent Richardson as "El Diablo"

I don't think for one second that's happening...
If there was ever a Judas Iscariot of the Nick Saban era, this is it…

Shame
To see him go. Did a real good job with the backups once Hightower was lost.
Good luck at Tech, he’s definitely earned the position.
Good luck
You know when you have juniors going into the draft and assistants leaving for promotions, you’re program is doing pretty damn well.
exactly.
hurts losing good coaches, but at least we kept both coordinators (so far). And when your assistants are getting DC jobs, it certainly helps you replace them.
What you're seeing is team spirit. It's like the Holy Spirit, but more powerful.

We're all looking forward to welcoming him
over at Double T Nation.

Just like Ro . . .
I want folks on the team to move up and forward. I hate to lose Coach Willis, but this is a big step up, and a program that gets a lot of national attention. It’s a good move.
Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world.
It will really work out well for Willis
When Tommy has them winning/losing games 12-7 over the next few years
/that sound you heard was Double T Nation’s collective head exploding

writer Walsh just said in his article that numerous sources are indicating that Lance Thompson wants to come back to Bama to get his old job. lol

I'll fly down to Tuscaloosa
just to throw thirty sheckels at that asshole.
Applewhite was disappointing, but he’s a kid. Steele was kind of perplexing, but understandable since he’s a seasoned coach and wanted to run his own show. Willis is not only understandable, but commendable.
I invite Thompson to open a refreshing can of STFU and beg Cutcliffe to hire him…
