PrintCongrats on the National Championship!
Anyway, next year was wondering about tixs for the PSU-Bama game. Does anyone have any links, student ticket info, tickets they would be willing to sell, etc.
Right now, Bama is sixth in wins with 813, while PSU is 7th with 811. Bama still has the appeal to deal with. Bama is 8-5 against PSU. Just filling up the 75 word limit here.
I expect you guys will beat us bad, but would stil love to see my team and JoePa at your stadium. Thx..

You sound like Joe pa , setting us up , Penn st has big tough players, and are well coached, It will be a good game and can’t wait to see Joe pa in Bryant Denny .

This game was scheduled I have been looking forward to it. The last time we played each other I was a kid, and after learning our history…well, IT’S a huge game to me and sure it is to all involved!! If there is a Big 10 coach to pull for it… it would be Joe Pa. Roll Tide!

one of my earlierst Bama memories
is of a game where we had to block a FG attempt at the very end to win it. it was a great game and my dad was absolutely freaking out before the kick and we all went nuts after we blocked it.
i cant wait to see this one too. it’ll probably be the matchup i look for most during the “Summer NCAA2011 Playstation Network pick up game” season.

I had the privilage............
of being at the 1986 Penn St-Bama game at Happy Valley and I must say that though we were clad in our crimson colors that day and we lost a heartbreaker, the PSU fans were truly kind. We ate and drank with them and had a great time, they were true class.
I hope to go to the game this year, so I can see us win this time around.
Does anyone know if the PSU qb was a senior? I sure hope so.

We just started winter workouts and officially began the battle for this year’s starting quarterback. Among the contestants:
Kevin Newsome, true SO, 11 D1 attempts on his resume
Matt McGloin, 3rd string 2009, former walk-on
Brett Brackett, converted wide receiver, played qb in high school
Paul Jones, true FR, ballyhooed recruit, enrolled early in Jan
Robert Bolden, true FR, ballyhooed recruit, not yet enrolled
So, at many positions our offense will be greatly improved by experience. Quarterback is not one of those positions. Not an ideal scenario for us to come in and face a Saban defense. Can we ring up Mal Moore and get the home&home postponed?
