Just an FYI for those that have wanted info on sending items to CNS for signature. Not really surprising after the recent success, but:
Per Office of the Director of Athletics:
"Due to the exceptionally large demand, requests for autographs made by individuals of the general public will not be fulfilled. Individual autographs may be obtained at Fan Day, Crimson Caravan events, and other public signing events to be announced.
In lieu of autograph requests, individuals may purchase limited edition signature series balls and other items through the online UA Memorabilia Store."
FanPosts are just that; posts created by the fans. They are in no way indicative of the opinions of SBN and the authors of Roll Bama Roll.

he stopped doing this a long time ago. I sent them an email right before the 2008 season started and got the same message you got.
This upcoming season I'm gonna refer to Julio Jones as "The Magic Man" and Trent Richardson as "El Diablo"

i find a lot of those items unbelievably garish. of course i’m not a fan of moore’s paintings either so there you are…

While I do like Moore's paintings
and still think five is a bit much this year, I agree that there are way too many crappy items for sale.
You go to Wal-mart’s, hibbetts, etc and the aisles are littered with junk. The only BCS NC stuff I have is the locker room hat, the SI magazine and the lindy’s magazine, with the moore painting to follow. I have a ton of autographed photographs and footballs in my game room, but there is a limit.

I've been a pretty big sucker for NC merch
Locker room hat and shirt, the “FIGHT ON, MEN” t-shirt (before the game), an embroidered hoodie, some lapel pins, and a car magnet for next year (not to mention Sports Illustrated Special Edition and Yea Alabama when I find it…), but I still have to say I find it it pretty ridiculous. I’ve spent around 125 on ALL of those things combined, and for someone to spend that on a gaudy, poorly designed football with a bunch of fake college student’s autographs on it is a little sick. And to spend 100 dollars for a 2 inch square of dead grass… pretty weird as well. I’d like that football if it were a giveaway at a basketball game, and I’d buy a piece of grass for 15 dollars, maybe, but yeesh…. some people have too much money. Let’s talk about the people buying replica crystal footballs for $30,000!!!

…are not fake you dumbass. I compared them to a few that I already had and those signatures are 100% legit. Do your research first assbag.

I finally got my NC merch yesterday...
Living in LV has its drawbacks. I found a “non official” shirt in Pasadena the morning after the game, but I wanted official stuff. It was at least something to wear until my I could get stuff. So when I returned home after from the game, I promptly sat down and ordered about $180.00 worth of stuff. It was probably a bad idea to order things so soon after the game, kind of like going to the grocery store when you’re hungry….you end up with a lot of crap that you don’t need…but the stuff I got was cool. Here is my list of stuff I have gotten (so far):
1. the gray locker room shirt
2. a crimson one with the score on it
3. the really cool “razor wing” gray shirt (REALLY cool!) see it here
3. Heisman shirt (because I hadn’t gotten it yet…)
4. another crimson shirt (a ladies’ one)
5. license plate frame, car emblem, BCS NC collector pin
6. necklace
7. and a poster
Whew! I know it was a lot of stuff, but I was like a kid at Christmas opening it all last night! And my hubby was a like a dad watching a kid opening “just what I always wanted”!
