Tyte Wurk "Ala-Freakin-Bama"
Alright guys, some friends of mine put this together for a player on the team and UA Sports is using it as a hype song in a highlights reel on youtube. Take a listen and tell me what you think. They didn't do the video just the song. Anyways I thought is was decent so I thought I'd pass it along. I have heard a lot worse, there are some country songs about Bama out there that will make you wish you were Helen Keller.
PS I posted this a month ago but, I do not think the link was working and It was not on Youtube.

saw that video the other day
song isn’t intolerable, just a little 90s for my taste. It’s funny how many Bama songs have been made this past month, but nothing though is worse than this

Funny thing is that
was exactly what they had in mind. Try and make a little change on the Alabama’s Success
Auburn fans are like slinkys... not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
Ala-freakin-Bama
is the worst song in history. The only reason it would even make it on the set is. #1 its Trace Atkins, and as you know, if you write a few good songs you don’t really need to try anymore. and #2 its going to have ratings because bama fans constantly crave anything bama. All that song is, is a way for Trace Atkins to cash in on bama’s victory.
My Mama says that alligators are ornery because they got all them teeth and no toothbrush.
Yeah, but this isn't the Trace Adkins version

but its still a crappy song. That one up top is better than Trace.

The question mark...
…was meant to imply doubt…and sarcasm….

I know...
I was merely removing doubt.

I don't like any fan tribute songs.
At. All.
Give me the fight song, rammer jammer, and the alma mater.

It's almost impossible to write a good song about sports...
…or to have an interesting painting about music. Most things that are epic are epic because they can’t be captured or explained easily.

I think the song
that was written about Bear after he passed was pretty nice. It still makes me tear up when I hear it to this day.

That's a song about a person though...
…which is totally different….even if the person the song about spent their life in sports.

There is a reason Huxley said it best...
“That which comes closest to expressing the inexpressible is music”….
That said, you can’t, simply can’t make decent sports songs; and that is triply true with football. Cracks of the bat, the taste of grass as you dive for a seeing eyed single, the smell and squeak of parquee, the emotions that roar as you hard foul someone because you missed the last shot, the crunch of your pads and the straps into the armpits, the pain of pulling off a helmet, the terror of hurling your body -full speed, at another human, the finger breaking ecstasy of breaking up a pass in icy weather…NONE of these make sense unless you do them.
