Last week I put out the call to see if any of you ingrates living in the Phoenix are might be willing to catch the Alabama vs Tennessee game next Saturday somewhere. And a number of you seemed amenable to the idea.

Now my intention was to go and reconnoiter all the likely spots and come up with the best one. But between a brutal 20K race that whipped my ass and a couple of crushing deadlines that absorbed every other iota of available time I might have, it didn't get done. But I think we'll be alright if we just go with this place Tempebamafan suggested (if it sucks, we'll blame him).

At this point we should have ten folks at most and that's not too much for a decent bar. It is Saturday night but I'll try to get there early enough to corral a table or two for us. At least tempebamafan is slated to be there so look for folks in the crimson shirts.

The game will start at 4 p.m. Arizona time.
