First a little ego stroking as this blog has been a must read for me going on about 3 years now. Scary to admit how many times I visit this site as I'm sure I could be a more productive member of society if I channeled my time doing something else. But hey, as far as passions (addictions) go, following BAMA is one of the best ones I have had in a long time.
Now to the point - If I may humbly request, one of the articles routinely submitted pertains to history between BAMA and whoever they are playing that week. Could we go deeper this week into the Spurier Effect and look at his story (past and present) where his influence was huge in FL, compared to his influence in SC and how that may play into the outcome of this weekend's game?
The reason I ask is because Spurier seems to be taking a diferent approach this year re: the running the football more despite him calling the plays. Also, his penchant for switiching QBs based on gut/emotion and the result of those switches is impacting the outcome of the game (see AU vs. SC). Is it disdain for Garcia or just impatience and if the latter, is his ego getting in the way?
