Hart/Crowell might be a nice replacement for Ingram/Richardson
But I wonder if he commits, does it push Crowell back toward Georgia?
By the looks of things, I'm pretty sure God doesn't care how you do in sports.
not the same kind of backs
Hart is going to be more of a slot/kick returner while Crowell is a beast. One will not affect the other. Crowell/Lacy would be a better comparison to TR/MI.
Roll Tide!
That's what everyone's writing, but I'm not sure.
I realize there’s a size difference (two inches and twenty pounds), but the film shows a lot of similarities between Crowell and Hart’s running styles; and honestly, Crowell doesn’t run like a big back. Though Hart is under 200lbs, he’s really thick for 5’8.
We heard the “slot back” stuff with Corey Grant last year so I’m curious as to what that really means in our offense. Unless there is a new element to be added to the offense, I can see Hart working out of the backfield like all our RB’s: taking handoffs and a lot of screens. Both Hart and Crowell seem to be excellent receivers.

Crowell is the higher rated of the two
I think they are both studs but I don’t think that Crowell will balk because of Hart. Maybe the other way around but Crowell is top shelf.
Roll Tide!
I hope so...
I think top guys like Crowell don’t shy away from good competition and sharing of playing time. Hopefully the example of Ingram and Richardson will go to show that it can actually help you develop and succeed rather than hinder.

I'm thinking it's not fair to the rest of the NCAA...

This class has the chance
to be the best since the 2008 class with JJ, MI, MB and DH. There will probably be no rival to that class as far as having an immediate impact. There’s too much talent deep into the depth chart now for there to be as many opportunities to play. I know CNS will always play the best, but we all know that talent + experience will pretty much beat talent alone. We’ve got some damn fine players on the current roster who project to return next year.
That said, as I said at first, this group is actually good enough to rival that with all the potential already committed and the guys that are Bama leans. This is the kinda problem that makes me proud to be a Bama fan. RTR!!
Obviously CNS is the master and whatever he does is gospel to me.
Roll Tide Roll!!
