Apparantly someone has decided to cash in on the insane craze that is Cam Newton. T-shirts have been produced that say "Yes We Cam", "War Cam Eagle" and "Newton's Law: Dominate".
According to an Auburn spokesperson, the shirts are breaking NCAA rules that prevent anyone from making money off the likeness or name of a college athlete. This means that these t-shirts could make Newton ineligible.
Also, the manufacturer of these t-shirts says that he is stopping production on them. However, when I did a google search to try to find out about them, I was able to find them still available for purchase on zazzle.com.
I don't know if this truly breaks NCCA rules if the person producing the t-shirts is not affiliated with the university. Auburn is taking it pretty seriously, so maybe it does break the rules or the person producing them has an affiliation to the university.
