Feds involved due to extortion?!?

Was out to lunch listening to Jox and the ongoing Cam melodrama. They mentioned that the reason the feds are involved is due to extortion. Does this make sense to anybody?

I guess if Miss St. was in fact trying to pay for Cam's services - the reason that Bill Bell would be involved in the first place - then lost in a bidding war to AU (too much money at AU) - then Cecil could have threatened to expose Miss St. since they were trying to make it happen and they didn't come up with enough money.

So for me, this makes more sense as to why Cecil wasn't as worried about it since Miss St. was guilty too. It could also explain why certain things were left out of the report Miss St. filed to the SEC. I know that Miss St. had other issues, but Dan Mullen knew what this player could do. I have to think they really wanted (AND NEEDED) Cam. Then when he goes to Auburn (West rival) all of a sudden they sit on information and delay the report? There's got to be more to it.

I know all of this is pure conjecture - but hey - I blame the media for getting me involved. If they would just tell us the whole story (yeah and I want a pony for my daughter's Christmas present) then I wouldn't have to wonder.
