There is only a handful of weeks left in the season, and Alabama is right now seen as the favorite one-loss team to make it to the national championship (even perhaps jumping undefeated non-BCS teams). Of course there are other one-loss teams, but I don't see them mentioned as much (the power of the SEC and Alabama's #1 ranking).

The biggest thing for Alabama is if they finish with one loss no one touches what they would have gone through to make it that far (not even included is the SEC Championship game), only LSU would come close.
