Many thanks to the RBR crew!
Twas a couple of weeks before Christmas and RBR was merrily blogging,
well except Pete - locked onto some poor poster he was busy flogging.
With the regular season complete and other blogs sleeping
RBR was busy posting the latest on football happenings
Whether it was about Cam or the new coaching carousel
RBR works hard updating us with relevant content that doesn't smell
OTS has the latest on everything we like,
Todd frequents posts with the occasional spike.
Nico and Kleph work hard too,
and Pete works hard to discern fact from poo.
So please give thanks and special applause,
to the guys at RBR who rival Santa Claus,
With the gift of insight, content and witty banter,
that causes much joy, perspective and laughter.
A Merry Chistmas and Happy New Year to the RBR Crew,
from someone who loves this site and just wanted to say thank you!
Quick shout out to the RBR crew for keeping the blog updated with great content on a regular basis. Thanks so much for your efforts.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to RBR and all who frequent this site.

Let me try this again.....Hey Judge
Merry Christmas from C’ville. I want to ask you something. Do we not have enough Bama fans in Virginia to get together and have the DMV make a State tag with the Bama logo? I happened to be in DC last Thursday evening and wound up behind a Lexus, wiht a Virginia tag and the au logo. I won’t reveal the letters on the tag as I feel I may be violating someone’s privacy. But geez, that isn’t right. I DEMAND A BAMA TAG! Any thoughts?

Register all your cars in Alabama
As long as we live in VA, we will be stuck with a virginia tag and the UA logo. I think I have seen the elephant head too. I have one car registered in VA, my other cars are registered in Bama. I can do this because I own a Home in Bama and I still do some “work” there making me a dual citizen.
Sorry buddy, I can’t get you that for Christmas. BTW’ Have a merry Christmas IM4UAinVA

I believe
there has to be around 50 prepaid requests with the DMV, and a few other requirements (such as a design) in order to get Va to issue those tags. Once that occurs, I shall proudly display my Va/UA tags. Will you be going to the Bowl game?

I'll miss the bowl Game
While all you Bama fans suffer thru the cold of the bowl and winter in general. This Bama fan gets to go to lovely Kabul. I hear they love Americans there. I can’t wait to drink up on new years eve. I can’t think of a better way to ring in the New Year. I’ll see the game via internet.
As far as the plates go it is a pain in the ass to get one. The GTO Assc. Of America tried to get plates made. Not only do you need designs but you have to have them approved by the Va legislaters. The big problem is getting the right to use the Bama logo. I know the GTOAA tried to get GM to liscence the GTO and Pontiac name and they wouldn’t do it.

Dude, i effed up.
I missed your point. There is an Alabama tag for Va. There is one with U of A and and one with the Elephant logo. At least there was in 2000 because I have one. It is just U of A and then the Plate #.
I thought you were talking about a full plate Alabama plate (Like Bama’s with the full image and the letters over it). If that makes sence.
Va has tags for Mich, Penn St., AU, UA, VT, UVA, Notre Dame, and Ohio state.

Well, thanks for that info
I have been on the DMV site and looked at all available tags and I did not see the Bama tag as being offered. I will try it once again and I will let you know the results. Thank again. Take care of yourself in Kabul.

Nope
I just checked the DMV site again. No tag for THE University of Alabama is offered. Oh well, one day.

They may have stopped making it.
I have one on my car. Prolly, the fees Bama charges for liscencing.

to RBR for giving us this forum and for doing such a good job running it. Thanks also to all the people that I’ve irritated with misuse of the reply button and for putting up with me until I got it right. Simple thing to some but this dot com machine wasn’t around when I was in school. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I still have so much to learn, but the education on Bama football I’m receiving here has surpassed all that I have gotten since I left God’s country in Jan of ‘85. The insight and discussions on this site are part of my daily educational exercises. And not just from the site Managers and Authors, but from the Fan Posts and Fan Shots also. Thanks to all. Merry Christmas to everyone on here
ESPECIALLY, the mods, writers, and/or admins for putting up with our crap. By crap, I mean misspellings, grammatical errors, general missunderstandings, blatant fabrications, incorrect opinions (?), and of course piss fights. We are a lot like a big family, we can bicker amoungst ourselves, but as soon as somebody decides to pick at one of our brothers or sisters, we jump on their ass like a hostage on a hamburger.
I’ve enjoyed reading and participating and hope next year brings better lives to all involved here. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Just wanted to add my kudos and appreciation.
I went to the alligator army site at 11a.m. yesterday for more info on Kirby and Bo and what they were hearing, and those no talent ass clowns over there had 1 post about the WHOLE DAMN COACHING CHANGE and that was it till I logged off the net at like 9p.m. I was thinking then about how awesome you guys are on this site and how much I love it. Thanks again guys.

Sands, I gotta hand it to ya buddy
You’ve been ridiculed, mocked, and thoroughly hazed by the RBR community, but you held strong, beckoned us to bring our worst, and you endured and emerged a better man. Your pledgeship is almost over; the only obstacle left in your path to full initiation is you must provide us with an “elephant walk.” Luckily, Spock and Stuck have volunteered to help you through it. Welcome to the RBR Cabal, my good man. Happy Holidays!

Great post
LSU fan who has always been very impressed with RBR—I like to join in general early/night college football game threads every now and then and RBR always has a lot of volume and good commentary in theirs from my experience not to mention RBR is a good place to get prompt information on the SEC and college football in general. Thanks for what y’all do. Also, it is nice to see Jasands50 and the RBR community getting along—I guess there is nothing like Christmas or Auburn to pull Tide fans together. I’m an SEC homer who does not believe Cam and likes Oregon a lot, so, Go Ducks! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!

Merry Christmas, Y'all!
I have thoroughly enjoyed this season’s posts and every little detail we’ve obsessed and discussed. I’m sad I didn’t find RBR sooner (aka in time for last season :/ ) but it’s been more fun than watching Texas melt down (… okay…. so maybe just as fun, not more fun). I love the inside jokes, the music discussions, and show yourself threads; it’s the little things that add up.
To those of you I met this year- what a good looking, funny, and awesomely fun group!
To those still not acquainted with me face to face- let me know when you’re in Tuscaloosa!
I look forward to the other sports and am already pumped for next CFB season. Much love <3
