2010 CFB Playoff Picture

I know some of y'all hate the idea of the playoff, but I figured you'd like to see Auburn lose.  The field is made up of the highest ranked conference champions.

2010 National Championship Picture

1.       Auburn (SEC)                                                                 * = moved up/new to board

2.       Oregon (PAC 10)

3.       TCU (MWC)

4.       Wisconsin (Big Ten)

5.       Oklahoma (Big 12)

6.       Boise State (WAC)

7.   Virginia Tech (ACC)

8.   West Virginia (Big East)*

With that lineup we would be able to set up a playoff scenario as follows (based on 3 simulations on whatifsports.com):

Round 1

1 Auburn vs. 8 West Virginia— Auburn

4 Wisconsin vs. 5 Oklahoma— Oklahoma

2 Oregon vs. 7 Virginia Tech— Virginia Tech

3 TCU vs. 6 Boise State— Boise State

Round 2

1 Auburn vs. 5 Oklahoma— Oklahoma

6 Boise State vs. 7 Virginia Tech— Boise State (based on opening game and on simulations)

NC

5 Oklahoma vs. 6 Boise State—Boise State

I think it would be a blast to see this play out for real.  I wonder if Boise would be able to to make it through 3 tough games in a row, though, since the simulations don't take that into account.  Thoughts?
