Bowl season is finally starting to ramp up with some BCS teams and some players that you've actually heard of before. Tonight we have ACC v. Big East, but it sure beats the hell out of MAC v. Sun Belt. Well, sort of, anyway. 

'Bama fans will also take note that this game is played at the Citrus Bowl, the site of Alabama's New Year's Day matchup against Michigan State. Thankfully the terrible playing surface from a year ago has been replaced, so keep an eye on how the new AstroTurf holds up tonight. If it's anything like most other artificial surfaces it should maximize and reward speed, so hopefully that is the case tonight because that will bode well for Alabama on Saturday.
