Top Moments of the 2009 Season: The Sweet Sixteen: Dareus's TD vs McElroy Bunny Hop
The sweet sixteen is set folks, and I'm doing a little bit of reseeding with a new bracket since y'all whined and cried about the previous seeding because you're all a bunch of cry babies that do nothing but whine and cry and I hate you all so so very much to kind of even out the earlier haphazard setup. The new bracket looks like this:
So to start this round we've got Marcell Dareus's TD against Texas vs the McElroy Bunny Hop against Florida. Vote away:
| Marcell Dareus TD against Texas |
| McElroy's Bunny Hop |

voted for marcell
but wondered…where did mark ingram come from to congratulate him in the endzone? did he just bolt off the sideline to celebrate?

That could be the unsportsmanlike conduct
If you watch it, you’ll notice that Marcell DOES throw the ball, but it’s at the line judge across the endzone. Ingram sprinting on could have easily caused that unsportsman penalty.

i don't think so
the ref beside marcell throws it immediately after the ball is launched

Marcell's TD defines this season.
Punishing, opportunistic defenses win championships. Remember Teague’s strip? Yup, this one is right up there with it.

This one will be hard to stop
Only Cody 5 could beat it…. but probably not.
Fumbles. It was always Fumbles
One of the few who's going with McElroy
I’m always thinking about what I want to be THE defining moment. Dareus’ TD was awesome, but it was against a second-string QB in what was honestly an ugly NC game. McElroy’s hop was one of the great moments of the SECCG where we dominated Florida by making many such moments.
Everybody loves to see the...
…big guys score. Despite his less than stellar exit from UA football, Andre Smith’s TD against Oklahoma State is one of my favorite highlights ever.

If Colt McCoy hadn't gotten hurt
McElroy never would have gotten that first down……..
Kinda stinks for McElroy...
We have “The Catch,” “The Strip,” “The Kick,”………and…..“the bunny hop.”
Oh well, at least he’ll be remembered as a NC quarterback…

Three things get me about Dareus's play.
First, the stiff-arm.
Second, Saban sprinting off the sideline to chew Marcel out for drawing the Unsportsmanlike flag.
Third, this:

That's the stiff-arm . . .
but you left off the spin move.

had to go with
Darius on this one…the “hop” was good but that TD was amazing.
Lane Kiffin took the meaning of "Volunteer" WAY too seriously....
I love how much...
…Todd whines and cries about others whining and crying….

I
also voted for Dareus. That spin move and stiff arm were both great to watch. Dareus threw Gibert to the ground like a ragdoll. lol
This upcoming season I'm gonna refer to Julio Jones as "The Magic Man" and Trent Richardson as "El Diablo"

My Final Four...
…would be Marcel Dareus TD, Eryk Anders’s Forced Fumble, Rocky Block, and Cody 5. From there, Marcel Dareus TD would advance to take on Rocky Block, with Rocky Block winning the title match. The great news is, no upset can be upsetting in this bracket….
