SEC Hoops Power Poll: Draft Ballot

Hoopspowerpoll2009logoa_medium

We'll have more coverage on Bama's disappointing loss at Georgia later on today or tomorrow. For now, let's get some feedback for Roll 'Bama Roll's ballot for this week's SEC Power Poll. I'll post my proposed ballot, and any good feedback will be taken into account in the final ballot, which will be submitted tonight.

1. Kentucky

2. Vanderbilt

3. Tennessee

4. Florida

5. Mississippi State

6 .Arkansas

7. Ole Miss

8. South Carolina

9. Georgia

10. Alabama

11. Auburn

12. LSU

Not a lot of difference in 4-5, 6-8, or 9-11, so I'm very persuadable in those areas. Have at it...

Hate to say it

…but until the loss is avenged at Coleman, Auburn should be 10 and Bama 11, IMO. Ya, this is an up week for Florida, so their 4 to Miss State’s 5 is a goodie. I think the argument could be made about Arkansas being #5 and Miss State #6 with the way Arkansas has played in the conference schedule. But being “what have you done for me lately” their losses to Bama and Auburn have chipped at their brilliance.

That all being said, you got it in the neighborhood.

It's not what you've done but what you are doing that matters.

Yeah...

LSU is pretty much the only SEC team I could definitively say is worse than us right now… I feel like we’ve shown so much promise, but we just don’t show up for a full game.

4-5, 6-8, 9-11...

…at a neutral site, I don’t think there’s much difference between any of them…but thanks, LSU!

Who'd ever thought we'd get passed by Mississippi on anything?

But the corn-dogs step up right in time. Bravo on the call NLS.

It's not what you've done but what you are doing that matters.
