Question about "Yea Alabama: National Champs" edition

Why are there no pictures from the Miss St game? It appears two are from the VaTech game, and one is from the Aubie game. Although I would understand, because I saved game pictures to use as my screen saver, and the Miss St game only had 6 or 7 photos.

It's a fantastic mag. I love reading the in-depth coverage on the key plays, especially when I read about them there, then see them show up in the "top moments" bracket.

That's a question...

… that will be better addressed by Todd or Nico2.0 because they did the actual editing work. I just did a lot of writing, and no actual editorial work.

Off the top of my head, though, I would imagine that there were simply no suitable photographs for that game. There weren’t many photographs from that game regardless — if I remember correctly (don’t know why) — and there may just not have been a suitable one that MSP had the rights to use.

We were limited....

…to what we could get via various wire photo services. Believe it or not, there were no photos from that game available to us via the wire services. Starkville might as well be Uranus or Mars for wire services apparently. We were really surprised none were available, but hey, whatchya gonna do?

OTS...

…basically had it down pat. It came down to rights. We had no rights to photos from the MSU game.

well damn, what does it take to get a press cred to be able to take photos on the sidelines. that would be a pretty cool gig :)

Oh, I soooo want to do that.

That has been a dream of mine since I got my first camera when I was 13!

Great read

My Sister purchased a copy in Montgomery and sent it to me here in Memphis. The ‘’Play of the game’’ break down’s really give you a whole new perspective on the offense, and how hard it really is for these young players to learn to execute.

Classic OTS analysis.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
