That must have been before Wheelie Man
The dude who rode around town, without the front wheel of his bike.
I'm in no condition to drive...wait! I shouldn't listen to myself, I'm drunk.
Wheelie Man...
…was awesome. Did you ever see him ride that bike on the guardrails down the median? Awesome.

I have no recollection of Jones the Grape
I was always a big fan of Walt Guthrie’s BamaLand and Mr. Moon and Nub Nub. I would fanpost a few of those panels if I could find them. My personal archives from that period are a little disorganized, if you know what I’m saying.
Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America.
there was also a great strip about that time
that featured a guy keeping the mascots for alabama and auburn in his apartment. but i can’t remember the name of it for the life of me.

bamaland
can be found here. except for my personal favorite which was simply a notification that the CW lawyers advised them not to run that day’s strip.

Thanks for the link.
Not a lot of units will get moved today. I sort of recall the strip about the mascots but I can’t remember what it was called either. Not one of Guthrie’s.
Being good has nothing to do with it, Mikey. They pick your name at random out of the phonebook.
Just a thought...
Has anyone from Auburn ever come up with something even half as cool as Bamaland? Didn’t think so.
