I hope it gets done swiftly

Are we getting that scoreboard back when this is done?

I think we are just getting the same corner screens like we have on the North

Auburn and Tennessee fans are a lot like Slinkys...neither are worth much but you do get a sense of satisfaction from pushing them down a flight of stairs

Awwww... no more of this?

I guess that wouldn’t really work with the upper section now that I think about it. Still, makes me a little sad

Yep

I too will miss it. I sit in U4-NN(about the 12 yd line, east side upper deck). I could see the old screen much better than I could those smaller screens which were much closer.

Nope...

… for now it’s four corner screens. I wouldn’t be shocked to see them add a couple of scoreboards at the top of the decks, but those things weigh a ton and that might create some engineering issues. In other words, even with financial considerations not taken into account, that may take a while.

So when is the Tide Pride office going to offer me my nosebleeds?

I had season tickets for a few years then missed my renewal while I was deployed….it hadn’t been a problem in the past,…but the year was 2007….and our new coach was well…you know…. so I’ve been on the waiting list ever since. I figure I’ll be holding down top row,…upper deck…right between the goal posts. At least I’ll get a decent view of a flyby or two. No calls though….I thought the waiting list was only about 10K deep.

As of before the 2009 season...

… the waiting list was approximately 30,000 deep, and I’m sure that number didn’t decrease with all that happened this year. You can call the athletic department to confirm one way or the other, but I’m pretty sure the waiting list is much longer than 10,000 people.

Yep.

I’ve been on the waiting list since 2006, before Shula was fired, and I’m still waiting.

did you write mal moore / nick saban / whoever a letter – you were DEPLOYED for God’s sake – and for that you lose your season tickets? that is shameful.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J.
