Rare audio of man who played for Wallace Wade
New this week on CrimsonReplay.com, be sure to check out the latest episode of Time Capsule, our monthly show featuring audio interviews from my vast archive.
This month's guest is Fred Sington, one of the greatest linemen in Bama history.
Sington, a native of Birmingham, was a two-time All-American in 1929-30 for the legendary Wallace Wade, leading the Crimson Tide to the 1930 national championship, capped by a 24-0 thumping of Washington State in the Rose Bowl.
Don't miss this rare audio clip.

Auburn and Tennessee fans are a lot like Slinkys...neither are worth much but you do get a sense of satisfaction from pushing them down a flight of stairs
