I decided late last night my recruitment was over. I was going to wait awhile, but I started thinking about it and it made no sense to keep it going. I wanted to play for Alabama all of my life, and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

Just being on campus yesterday made me feel like I was home. My whole family just about is Alabama fans and they have all wanted me to play in Tuscaloosa like my dad since I was a little kid. This made more sense than anything I could have ever done in my entire life

Great Heart

It is always inspiring to see a young man like this that will play with heart because he has always loved Bama. That is what we had for years and that is what we are still looking for now. Talent is important, but the heart is what we really want because a young man that loves a school will pull down a mountain to get a victory for himself, his school and for those he loves. Roll Tide

I personally don’t want players just because they wan’t to play at UA. I want talent, talent and talent. When a player chooses The Tide over all his other options it’s a given the heart is there. Talent wins games and heart helps you cheer. Just ask Rudy!

He is great who can do what he wishes; he is wise who wishes to do what he can.

Great Heart Again.

What you say has some merit. I have been following the Tide for about fifty years and I have seen some come and go. Some, who were only 3 star talent by the services, had heart and played like 5 star talent. I agree that talent has got to come, but don’t forget the heart. I have seen plenty of so called talent that did us little good and they stayed on the bench or left us. Cody is a good example of a 3 star that played like a five star. Coach saw his heart. After Florida won the 2008 BCS, The Title helped the Gators amass the best recruiting class in BCS history.

Alabama won the 2009 BCS Title and here we are signing 1-Star recruits. Woodson, a WR has good size for his position. The problem is this, he runs a 4.94 40-yard dash. At WR that speed will never creat seperation against SEC caliber DB’s. At best Woodson would be a possesion receiver a lot like Earl Alexander.

I’ve heard 2011’s signing class will be a small class with numbers somewhere around the 18-20 player mark. I hope this is the only 1-star recruit Bama has their sights on!

Not sure

why ESPN is reporting a 4.95 40. I’m sure that’s a typo… i’m faster than that! Bamaonline.com (Rivals) is reporting him at a 4.5

Dont concern yourself with the ratings just yet. It’s March… of 2010! These ratings change quite often and he may just not have been reviewed yet by the ESPN staff. Not to mention, Rivals has no rating of him yet… not even 1 star… typically meaning he hasn’t been evaluated yet.

Trust in CNS!

OK your right. It is very early in the process. Lets see what happens in his Senior season

I fully trust in the players Coach recruits….the only thing bothering me is the slow fourty time, for a WR speed is a must to creat seperation.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J.
