Is it me

or did it seem from this video that AJ & Sims both threw the ball crisper that GMac or Star?

Not that GMac is not going to be the guy, but 10 & 14 look like they can throw.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

AJ can flat sure get the ball out in a hurry!

And Sims seems to have a relaxed charisma about himself.
When you’ve got a championship QB as starter and backups like these life is good, real good!

we surely can't be basing this on

the 4 throws AJ and Sims threw in 1 min 20 seconds of footage on the first day of practice. we only see Gmac throw the ball twice and Star once. AJ still looks a little on the thin side. he was really thin as a senior in H.S. hard to imagine his arm strength being greater than Sims, Gmac’s, or Star’s.

lets hope more footage comes available in the future

Discipline is to do what you’re supposed to do, when you’re supposed to do it, the way it’s supposed to get done. But, self discipline means you can do it in any circumstance. Aight, whether you feel like doing it or not. You make yourself do it.

Yeah I wouldn't base

anything on this little clip except to say that I hope AJ & Sims get to throw it a bunch in the A-Day game.

Simple observation.

It’s not basing or assuming. I agree with the first post because it’s pure truth. G-Mac’s passes were wobbly and over-thrown, while Sims and McCarron threw tight, crisp passes.

What does this mean? Absolutely nothing. Did it happen? Absolutely.

Like I said he was just making a truthful observation that really amounts to nothing.

Sims...

…may be the most phsically gifted QB we’ve ever had, A.J. has an incredibly quick release, and Star obviously has more experience than both of them. All that GMac has is my desperate prayers that he starts every game for us this season, including the BCSNCG.

That said, we need to get at least one of the other fellas some major playing time in 2010.
