Please, please, please let this happen. Oh how I would love to smash tOSU for another National Title.

is it just me or

does Ohio State get picked almost every preseason to be in the national title game?

Nick Saban: Discipline is to do what you’re supposed to do, when you’re supposed to do it, the way it’s supposed to get done. But, self-discipline means you can do it in any circumstance. Aight, whether you feel like doing it or not. You make yourself do it.

It's

sort of a backhanded complement. On one hand, yeah they’re not bad, but on the other hand at least 47 other teams could get through that conference unbeaten.

I'd prefer to

play just about anyone else. It’s getting to the point where it would be like Boise State getting into the national title game. In fact, I’d probably rather have Boise than tOSU.

maybe i'm the only one but...

I’d like to see a SEC vs. Pac 10 matchup. Alabama vs. USC or Alabama vs. Oregon. Although Oregon is looking sort of unlikely at this point. Another matchup against Kiffin could be fun. Anyone else?

ASU only because my bro-in-law is an alum.

It's not what you've done but what you are doing that matters.

that would be EPIC

especially since the title game is in glendale this year. that said, it is entirely not possible. ASU is a stinking pile of shit, and will remain so as long as ericson is at the helm.

I'd even go so far as to push Lisa Love under the bus...

Those

two you mentioned would certainly be interesting. After marking Tejas off the list, and given the SEC’s complete ownage of tOSU, I’d be much more intrigued by USC or Oregon. I like USC because they have the reputation of being a “pro-like” college program and I think Alabama is starting to get that as well. And Oregon’s contrasting style to our own would just make for an interesting matchup.

I'd like to see...

…Bama vs. Tulane in the BCSNCG.

USC will be on probabation and oregon is focused more on the Fulmer Cup than winning actual games

so while i’d like to see that too, i think it’s highly unlikely. I’m predicting a Bama vs Nebraska title game. Nebraska’s schedule sets up really nice (they play one decent team all year, texas @ nebraska) and all they need to do is win the big12 title game.

also, regarding Boise state. they have a “punchers chance” of making it, that chance being, they go undefeated and everyone else has at least 1 loss. under that scenario i can see them getting an invite over a 1 loss big 12 or big 10 title holder.

and also, duh, Bama is wining the SEC again this year, as well as the BCS title game. so go ahead and place your bets now folks.

also, it's been about 8 or 9 years since i was on it

but i am glad to have finally forgotten how to spell “probation”
