Bama PG signee Releford leads team to state title
Some great news here from our point guard signee Trevor Releford out of Kansas. I strongly encourage everyone to read the article above about just how high his coach is on him and how key he was in leading his team to the state championship. We'll have tons of info and possibly even some video and interviews from Bama's two basketball signees for next season in the coming weeks. We'll also update you on some Bama targets for the late signing period, which begins after the national champion is crowned in April.

His brother plays for Kansas.
That is a good sign.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
Releford keeps showing promise...
Which is great, because we’ll probably need a lot from him to improve from 17-15

…from everyone, but I can’t see any reason we won’t improve significantly from this past season. Torrance is a significant loss on offense, but Releford should come close to equating what he brought to the table. And all thanks to Anthony Brock, but I feel just as comfortable with Andrew Steele as I did with him. We get Demetrius Jemison back to add depth to our inside game, plus the other new guys coming in to provide further depth, which, in my mind, was our most significant problem this season. If nothing else, expect to see a big drop in the number of games where our team is the one gasping for breath before the game is over.

One fan request... if this is possible
Could we get an article breaking down the differences for college basketball recruiting? I know the signing times are odd for football nerds to remember, and I think it would be helpful for an off-season article sometime.

Recruiting
Priority has to be getting some more forwards and a center for the signing class. Some good news was the Luke Cothron, a highly regarded national prospect decommitted from North Carolina State. I would assume that Alabama would currently be in the lead for him; he is from Alabama.
