Around SBN: Leandro Damiao Is Still Really Good

Jim Bob Cooter (who instantly moves to the top of the all-time list of names that sound made up) has been promoted from staff assistant to offensive assistant.

Damn those Vols...

…they never gave him a shot. I so wanted to hear him announced as their starting QB.

Auburn and Tennessee fans are a lot like Slinkys...neither are worth much but you do get a sense of satisfaction from pushing them down a flight of stairs

I guess I've just been living too long on the straight and narrow...

I should’ve been a screw up my whole life and had the opportunity to be a part of an NFL coaching staff; pending convictions be damned.

I once had a boss with two first names

Jim Bill, as in James William. I’d put his last name here but I have too much respect. After all, he once got so drunk at the company Christmas party he whipped out his johnson and started swinging it around. Upper management was not happy.

If Jim Bob Cooter

Had the looks of James Dean and the money and smarts of Bill Gates, I would not marry him, if it required taking his name. Life is too short to be a woman named Cooter. It’s bad enough that my great gandfthter was redundantly named Willie Johnston. There’s a “T” in that name and don’t forget it!!!

My clever husband just quipped,

“I heard he was a big proponent of the Spread Offense.” With a straight face, never looking up from his book. I am a lucky woman.
