only for the sure sake of good competition...

I think auburn’s got a beast in newton. looks like he’s got a powerful arm. probably going to be a great scrambler to boot. I wonder if he catches on fast this year or not. reminds me of dameyune craig that guy had a cannon. I think malzahn scares me more than any other OC in the SEC…. well that is unless we were facing jim mcelwain… but, well we have him lol. I think auburn is going to be the most improved team next season. but, the day malzahn leaves chizik is finished.

I’m all roll tide so no one get offended by a compliment to our in state rival.

Honestly...

…I get the feeling Auburn is in for the prison raping of a lifetime this year. You know how Saban makes a point to whip the stank out of anyone he loses to if he gets a chance the next season? Even though we didn’t lose to Auburn (yes, dipshits, the last seven minutes still count in football), hearing them run their whore mouthes for a year over their moral victory and “OMG CHIZIK OUT RECRUITED YOU LOLZZZZZ!” I wouldn’t be surprised if he feels the need to remind them who’s in charge.

What scares me about Auburn

is luck. The trick plays they pulled off against us were luck. That they got invited to the Outback to be honest was a bit of luck. That they beat Northwestern was also luck.

Chizik has been riding a lucky streak. I serioulsy do not think he is that good, but he has been lucky at Auburn thus far. Sometimes these things, the luck thing, can have a way of building. I think UGA had some of that in Richt’s earlier years and LSU definitely had it with Miles for a few years.

No doubt Auburn fans are sky high right now and they have no reason to be that excited except they sense their luck is going good. Hopefully it will crash this season.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

blah blah blah

would you be as confident about the luck building if it were on our side? somehow, i don’t think so…

we’re national champions, spring practice just started, baseball softball and gymnastics are kicking ass, and the most recent two fanshots are about the boogs…give me a break

first of all... saban would definitely let us know

that being nation champions last year has nothing to do with this new year. if only it makes things harder as we are now an even bigger target. we have 6 SEC opponents who have an off week before they play us (who knows if that can be changed)… unbelievable! I know I will be on pins and needles before those games.

there is nothing wrong with respecting our opponents. yeah, I hate auburn, tennessee, and florida in that order. but, as a fan of the game itself… I can definitely spot that auburn is in a good position to drastically improve over last year at least offensively. those crazy ass schemes that malzahn runs gets more out of inferior talent that any other system. he put up insane numbers at tulsa, but yeah there was a drop off when he faced major opponents… but that has more to say about superior talent on the other side of the ball. when he faced par talent he dominated. auburn’s lvl of talent is much superior to tulsa. i think we are better than auburn by a long shot, but as long as malzahn is there… I most assuredly expect a shoot out. can’t wait for him to take a head coaching position somewhere.

I have all the faith in the world in coach saban and how he gets the job done. I am proud to have him leading the tide. his philosophy extends beyond football and is inspiring. we have another great season to look forward to next year.

I agree Todd...last year target Florida...this year Auburn. One more thing if the new guy starts he won't last the season.

It's so they don't realize his schemes are garbage...

and try to make a run for it!

I wonder, is this guy supposed to be better than Tyrod Taylor? We see how well TT fared against a Saban D.
