Awesome Article....
on the Quarterbacks this coming year! If your not to busy i say check this article out...the guys over at Bama Sports Report did it good!!!
This is the beginning of a new day.
God has given me this day to use as I will.
I can waste it or use it for good.
What I do today is very important because I am Exchanging a day of my life for it.
When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever.
Leaving something in its place I have traded for it.
I want it to be a gain, not loss - good, not evil.
Success, not failure in order that I shall not forget the price I paid for it.

Interesting article... thanks for the link!
I, myself, am curious to see how G-Mac rebounds from an undefeated and NC winning season. He proved time and time again, over the course of last season, that he’s capable of showing leadership when it matters most, and that’s something we at Alabama haven’t seen in a very long time.
I remember after the Virginia Tech game, knowing he struggled during most of it, saying, “I have complete confidence in him and I wouldn’t trade him for Parker or Croyle” after he fought back to win the game, along with the rest of the team, especially considering it was his very first collegiate start and in a prime-time game against a prime-time opponent (and not John Hancock University) at that.
Congratulations to the 2009 SEC and BCS National Champions: The Alabama Crimson Tide! Roll Tide Roll!
I have a lot of confidence in G-Mac...
I will be the first to admit he’s not a superstar quarterback…but neither was Jay Barker. Like Barker, G-Mac is a solid quarterback who can be counted on to make very few of the kind of mistakes that can change the tempo of the game for the worse. He’ll never be Sam Bradford, throwing it all over the field with uncanny accuracy and poise. He’ll never be Tebow, a prime running threat who can easily win games all by himself when the rest of the team isn’t producing…
But G-Mac is smart, and that’s the main thing I look for in a quarterback, especially in our offense. People can point him out as a weak spot all they want, but he led us to an undefeated season and a National Championship. He’ll be better this year than he was last year, and if our defense can fill the holes left by our departing players, I honestly believe Bama will be in contention to repeat. It won’t be easy, but I definitely don’t see “lack of superstar quarterback” as a real weakness this year.

Look at the history...........
For Bama last 4 National Championships, 78, 79, 92 and 09. None of the qbs were superstars, not Jeff Rutledge, though he was one of the best “backup” qb’s in the pros for the Giants, not Steadman Sheely or Jay Barker, who’s wife is soooo fine, sorry. But, what they do have in common as does GMac is that they were VERY smart and were almost the same as having coaches on the field.
I believe that GMac will do a very good job this year, and he will teach his new backups very well. I want be suprised to see him coaching or in the a front office job in football someday.
I don't mind bad news, and I don't mind good news, but I can't stand surprises! Coach Nick Saban
I'll take an intelligent QB over a physically talented QB anyday.
GMac has a ton of confidence in his self.Leadership, always thinking about whats going on with the defense and how to counter it.As forementioned Bama has never had a big time stud QB that has won a championship.Thinking and preparation in my opinion win over raw talent everytime.
I believe...
…Joe Namath, who won a championship in 1964, may qualify as a ‘big time stud QB’…not that I disagree with your overall premise.
