Always been curious as to how GMac cracked his ribs in the SECCG

This says it happened on the “last play of the 3rd quarter” but I checked the tape (ok, this is beyond crazy) and it wasn’t that play. The next play was his spinning scramble to the 2 yard line. Although he didn’t get hit to speak of on the play he may have done it on that play because of the way he twisted his body.

I kinda thought

he may have gotten hurt when he reached and was tackled by the lower legs on that play. His chest area hit hard on the turf or grass. Whenever; it took a man to stay in after cracking a couple ribs.

Agreed. I cracked two ribs last fall . . .

playing soccer with my son. I could not even run much less play football. I was just sort of curious — just the torque of his body could have caused it on that scramble.

I did the same...

…several years ago, and I couldn’t even stand to change my shirt.

And I never see this referenced anymore, but I’m almost certain that CNS said that the injury in the Florida game was actually a re-injury from a blow GMac took in the Ole Miss game.

Any excuse to justify crappy play, huh?

You’re such a McElroy homer…I mean, who cares if we won those games and he’s never lost? We would clearly be better off w McCarron bc he is amazing and the best QB since Namath, my cousin’s landlord knows the groundskeeper at the stadium and that’s what he said. That fact that he’s never played a game in college has absolutely no relevance. Hmpf, you McElroy homers disgust me.

McElroy wouldn't have won all those games...

…if McCoy hadn’t gotten hurt.

I recognize...

…the sarcasm, but does nobody else remember this? Maybe I heard it from somebody else, but I could swear I read a quote from CNS about it…oh, well…whatevs….
