[NY Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan] praised [Cory] Reamer for his knowledge and decision-making ability. He even joked that the Jets should replace defensive coordinator Mike Pettine with Reamer because "this guy is sharp."
The initial report of former Crimson Tide linebacker Cory Reamer from the NY Jets rookie mini camp from the NY Daily News' Matt Gagne. It seems the stereotype of players coached by Saban being ready for the pro game is holding solid. Reamer is trying out for a position on the Jets roster as an unsigned free agent.

2nd day in a row that Rex Ryan has singled Reamer out. Said that he is a player that refuses to fail, and will work to stay on this roster. Been very impressed with his intelligence and his overall play.

That is great news.
The best part is Bama has a roster full ’em.
That white stuff on the top of chickencrap is.....chickencrap.
I don't know if Reamer will ever be a starting LB in the NFL...
…but he could work his way into some nickel packages and be a contributor on special teams easily. Hope it works out for him, he’s always been a good kid.
