Bob Bockrath: Screwing Up Athletic Departments Coast to Coast
Those loveable ingrates over at Cal Golden Blogs passed this along. It's revisiting the firing of a Cal basketball coach in the early 1990s by the school's then AD Bob Bockrath, the same guy that left Alabama in such dire straits a few years later. There's nothing about the Crimson Tide in this story but anyone who's following the recent posts about the Stallings/Dubose era will find it of interest.
