Ohio State is now considered the team to beat for five-star linebacker Trey DePriest. Alabama was once thought as the front runner.
The battle for Trey DePriest is very intense right now. OSU believing he stays, Bama thinking he is heading to Tuscaloosa.D-Day coming soon.
Sounds like this is going to be a neck-and-neck battle. Hopefully we'll get some good news soon.

..a gifted athlete, and, apparently watches film, too..from what I’ve seen on film, he needs some Saban tutoring to become the next beast-in-waiting…would be icing on the cake for this class…

What top notch defensive player doesn’t want to play for coach Saban…
That’s largely my thought. I tell you, even if you don’t like ‘Bama or Tuscaloosa, if you’re a kid who legitimately wants to get to the next level and legitimately think you are a big-time player, turning down Saban is tough.
Admittedly, though, in all fairness it’s not like he can really go wrong at either school. Ohio State may have struggled on the big stage, but they’ve put countless players into the NFL in their own right.

Trey DePreist can choose a quality staff at OSU for NFL attention... (the record)
Trey CAN choose OSU, and expect to be a TOP defensive draft pick for the NFL. Saban doesnt really have much a better resume than Tressel. Even this year, OSU delivered a LB to Miami in the 7th round of the draft, and he never started a game, for OSU.
