"I can acknowledge that representatives from the NCAA have been to Chapel Hill to speak with some of our student-athletes," UNC athletic director Dick Baddour told Inside Carolina on Thursday afternoon.

Inside Carolina's sources indicate that those "student-athletes" include members of the football program.

Inside Carolina has been able to confirm through its sources that the investigation is not academic-related.

Inside Carolina: NCAA Investigating UNC Football Program Uh oh. If the NCAA is investigating the football program, and it's not about academics, well, that kind of narrows it down, huh? According to Joe Schad on Twitter, the NCAA is asking some big-time players some very, very serious questions. If nothing else, nothing good can from the NCAA poking around your program asking your star players about agents and who is paying for their vacations and their apartments, not to mention demanding telephone records.
