Proposed RBR Bannable Offenses

This post lacks art because ironic referencing won't save you.
Recently, in a thread that deserves no link, our exalted panjandrum and poo bah, Todd, decreed the following:
Also, new policy, anyone who makes a Twilight reference without being a smoking hot legally aged woman with the pictures and/or video to back it up gets banned.
Which kind of begs the question... what other non-football-related offenses should be deserving of an automatic ban on RBR? Feel free to offer your best suggestions in the comments with the understanding the management has no obligation whatsoever to enforce them -- unless they are super-extra-special-awesome, of course.
FanPosts are just that; posts created by the fans. They are in no way indicative of the opinions of SBN and the authors of Roll Bama Roll.

The funny thing about that, I read it correctly...

My issue with Turtledove
Is the whole “What happens in my Timeline 151 is basically what happened in reality.”
Then why would I want to read it?

exactly.
That’s why I stick to loosely factual tales, that just fill-in the timelines (with liberties taken, of course): Iggulden’s Mongol; some of Cornwell’s stuff (Agincourt, Saxon chronicles, etc); David Ball (Ironfire, esp.); Robert Harris’ Lustrum series. And, there’s a fascinating new series by Harry Sidebottom about Ballista, one of the 30 Tyrants, and the sack/seige of Syria by the Sassanids (first book is “Fire in the East”).

Posting an update on Spencer Region's status should be a banable offense
but this is pretty funny:
Four-star offensive guard Spencer Region (Cullman, Ala.) has informed ESPN affiliate Web site CrimsonConfidential.com that he has a new leader.
“Wisconsin, they’re coming after me real hard…. “They’re probably my favorite right now.” He then stated that Alabama is “probably” second. “I hope I can go to Alabama and pursue my dream, but if Alabama is not where I need to be then it’s not where I need to be,” he said. “I’m just trying to take a business-like approach.”
lol

What he's really saying....
Alabama pulled my offer so now I’m gonna go freeze my balls off in Madison. But hey, at least they have the Jump Around thing. I guess that’s cool.
Also, being Spencer Region should be a bannable offense.

"being Spencer Region should be a bannable offense."
That poor kid. I mean, 17 year olds do stupid, bratty things all the time, but just because this one is blessed with the size and athletic ability to play offensive line at a high level his stupid, bratty antics have caused an entire state to turn on him. Future prospects, please take note.

Allow me to fix it for you.
He will be rather cold. He will gain more weight. His strength may improve but his “conditioning” will be a punch line amongst NFL scouts. And he may well be too busy walking back to the huddle with his head hanging low because Aaron Maybin/Adrian Clayborn/SEC lineman/Dude from Ohio State just sacked his quarterback after blowing by this Region kid with a simple speed rush to drink any Keystone or meet any ladies.
Dang, I love Wisconsin linemen!

They are ponderous indeed.
But, now concluding my six year tenure in hell (SD, IA, NE), I maintain that he will still I drink Keystones, gain 40 pounds and bang fat chicks!

Personally I think
once Spencer goes to Wisconsin we should have weekly updates. It would be good for a laugh.
Of course when he signs with UAB no need to update.
As much as I hate Auburn I hate Tenn. that much more.
Has RBR ever banned anyone?
It’s been my experience that banning is a futile exercise (as an observer, not the “bannee”) – i.e. someone can just create alternate ID’s and keep resurrecting themselves, if they want enough to annoy you and skirt your security measures, unless you can track IP’s.

My legal writing professor threatened to fail people who used the phrase “it goes without saying” because, she told us, if it went without saying, we shouldn’t be saying it, and if we needed to say it, it didn’t go without saying.
She had similar (but less extreme) feelings about “clearly”, “obviously”, and their ilk.
I still twitch involuntarily every time I use a word or phrase like that.
I'm wrong all the time.
Clearly, you would.

I'm with her on "clearly" and "obviously,"
but “truth be told” is one of the worst, especially when not followed by the truth. But truth be told, we just have to hope for the best at the end of the day, because the point remains that it goes without saying… OR DOES IT?!?
(Mind you, it does.)
