Ex-Tide great Woodrow Lowe to enter College Hall of Fame Today
Lowe was a three-time first-team All-America linebacker 1973-1975. He set an Alabama single season record in 1973 with 134 tackles and was a key part of that squad's netting the national championship.
He will become the 17th Crimson Tide player to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Alabama coaches Wallace Wade, Frank Thomas and Paul W. Bryant are also represented in the hall.
The enshrinement ceremony will take place tonight in South Bend, Indiana and can be followed on a webcast via the hall's webpage.
