is corso doing it again this year?
I thought last year was going to be his final year because of his stroke.

Corso is on the show for comic relief.
So, even if he can’t talk in complete sentences or gets confused about who is playing they will still have him if he wants to put himself through it.
The bad thing is that in his coaching days Corso was a good coach. He had a losing record but always coached at bad schools like Indiana. He could have been a very succesful coach if he had coached somewhere like Purdue.
But, his coaching ability and knowledge of the game is not what he wil be remembered for if he continues on ESPN. Instead he will be remembered as a confused old man that rarely made sense. I can’t beleive he needs the money, but I do think he loves the spotlight, so I guess he will contine regardless of his condition.
If we have to expand...let's keep it to 14.
Hey, I for one will admit
that I enjoy watching him, even if a lot of his analysis doesn’t make sense. He’s like Lou Holtz, except that he can speak intelligibly and isn’t a raging ND homer.
yeah i "love to hate" corso
whereas lou “holthlthz” has always just been an annoying gimmick. at least corso halfway knew what he was talking about…. post stroke however, he’s becoming a caricature of his former self….

I would love to hear
Lou Holtz to a Sylvester the puttycat impression
It's hard to say what's been most impressive. The seamless jump from AA? The ability to hit for average? The ability to hit for power? The 18 walks in 111 trips to the plate? The flair for the dramatic? When you're trying to isolate the most impressive aspect of Jason Heyward's game, there's a lot to choose from, and it's only been a month and a half.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The last damn thing we need is Gameday showing up in Tuscaloosa. F**********CK!
Roll Bama Roll - The Champagne of Bama Blogs.
Hopefully,
we will be able to pull this game out despite their presence. And since they will have already visited maybe they will stay the hell away when we get into conference play.
so have we still not won a game with GameDay in Tuscaloosa
over the last few years? or were all our big “GameDay” wins, at neutral or away sites?
2 chick fil a season openers w/ GameDay, neutral…. @ georgia, any others ? didn ESPN bring GameDay to one of the last 2 LSU games?

Actually...
…I love Gameday showing up in T’town for this game. It’s just another way for CNS to restore balance to college football. We used to always lose to the boogs at BDS, too, and we all know how that changed….

Last time was Alabama Georgia 2007
We went into that game 3-0… I think we all remember what happened

The old Corso
I watched the 1988 Alabama – TAMU ‘hurricane bowl’ on espn classic a couple weeks ago and Lee Corso was a freaking genius calling the game. It was unbelievable, probably some of the best analysis I’ve ever heard. Also Chris Fowler as the young buck sideline reporter was pretty adorable. He looked like a high schooler.
Fight on, fight on, fight on men! Remember the Rose Bowl, we’ll win then.
You are correct.
Lee Corso was very good at calling football and coaching football. Unfortunately most people will remember him as he is now…comic relief.
If we have to expand...let's keep it to 14.
