Alabama All Access
Did anyone else see about 10 minutes into Thursday show, when the team was stretching Coach went up to Julio and said "Are we going to have a conversation today?" and Julio shook his head no and pointed Coach on down the line. Is there a riff here? Did I miss something? Also it was pretty funny watching him crack on Mark Barron for body fat. All in all, a pretty good show so far.

I saw that
but it seemed like it was all in fun. To me it looked like Julio didn’t want to be on camera or something and Saban was making light of it. Saban was chuckling about the whole thing.
I think they're just clowning around
Saban has a smartass sense of humor and he’s playing on Julio’s intense, quiet nature.

Which was the one where he calls GMac "as soft as a baby's ass"

i thought he said it to mccarron...
he and gmac were joking about how “kids these days” are so soft and aj piped up with some reply and got the “baby’s ass” response from saban.

Yea, it seemed Coach was playin around with Julio. He’s done that in each of the shows so far. I wouldn’t read in more into it. And, I could be wrong, but, I could have sworn the body fat comment was directed at Marquis Maze, not Barron.

I feel the same way
But they do have some clips online even if you don’t have ESPNU. I wish I could see the whole thing, but even just the clips are great.

what he was selling today, something good or something bad.

There is more
They are going to take all the footage and turn it into something like a two hour special that is supposed to air later this month. I think the 17th and 18th.

One of my favorite parts
was when Saban was chest bumping with #6 (Goode?) and then headed over to do the same with Richardson and he wouldn’t do it….Saban started kidding with him and said “Did you chicken out today? You didn’t want none of it, did you get hurt yesterday?”
And at one point…he told a player “engergize this” and patted his butt! He also said something to Richardson about having “that New York, LA stuff down pretty good”. I am betting that is some kind of inside joke.
I thought it was nice to see that he has a rapport with his players and that he does have a sense of humor!

the LA/NY thing
is apparently slang for some offensive playbook stuff.

I briefly read through
some of it and I can’t wait to read the rest. I am someone who watches football and understands it, but doesn’t know technical names to call coverages and schemes. I will have to read it completely through tonight after I get home from the gym and all the thoughts of the day have gone away and I can completely concentrate on it.
Thanks for posting the link! I can’t wait to earn some more crinkles!

So what's the deal?
There’s going to be an hour-long thing on ESPN U and then ESPN the next night? What’s the timing of these events?
