I have been watching Alabama football since the sixties and I know for a fact that our jerseys have gone from crimson to red , just check out old photos or films and you can see for yourself.  The other thing that I hate is the names on the back of the jersey , I realize it has a recruiting benefit to show the kids their name on the back and all but , I think given a vote the players and fans would rather have real crimson colors and no names . ( of course I'll take Championships with any color jersey }
