Some encouraging news about former UA basketball star Mikhail Torrance from his agent Happy Walters. (the second tweet said "...wake up sooner rather than later. Doctors are taking it slowly.") Torrance, who had previously been diagnosed with a heart condition, collapsed Friday while training at the IMG Basketball Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He was taken to intensive care and doctors induced a coma while evaluating his brain function. The positive CT suggests that even if there was a lack of oxygen to his brain for a period of time, it wasn't sufficient to cause damage. That said, nothing is for sure at this point and Mikhail has a long way to go to get out of the woods but this is certainly the most encouraging news we've had since Friday.
