This may be a dumb

question. But what is up with the Roman Numeral 3 thingy? I know that those are walk/hallways in the middle. Does it mean something or just happened to look like a III? Perhaps it represents the three degrees of the Freemasons? Or maybe the three main classes of the Illuminati. Or, maybe, they had extra Crimson paint and were going for an upside down smiley face…

I assume...

He’s talking about the crimson seat backs on the West side of the bowl. They are only in the three sections in the middle on that side (making them look like three block I’s), the West Upper Deck, and the “Zone” area at the tops of both endzone sections.

So I

guess it was a dumb question. But am I seriously the only one who wonders why certain sections are crimson? Its seemingly random except for the fact it is in a pattern(if that makes since at all).

Those

Are the big money seats. The prize seats of the stadium. West side (no looking into the sun for 2:30 games), between the 40s. You can bet those people are paying for those and they’re going to have chairbacks too.

Man that is beautiful

We have got to have the best stadium in all of college football……..I mean, show me a stadium that holds as many people and has four widescreen hd jumbotrons and a bad ass sound system……It is a palace……BD is going to be seriously loud now that the other end zone is enclosed…….I think it is already louder than any stadium I’ve been in when the crowd is really into it…….now it’s gonna be sick……

Did we update our sound system?

It sounded like crap

at Homecoming last year. Couldn’t hear a freakin’ thing! I hope they update that while they’re at it….

Yeah they were shaking out some of the bugs.....

I’ve got a buddy who helped install it……he says the people running it were used to the crappy old system we had and didn’t know how to run the new one correctly (it is like a 2 million dollar system)…..should be awesome this year with full surround on the new zone addition…..

i hope so

i want The Bear’s voice to be LOUD and CLEAR (well, as much as possible). I sure would like some of Coach Saban’s pre-game rants in the video as well. I LOVE THAT SHIT

Eyegasm

Auburn and Tennessee fans are a lot like Slinkys...neither are worth much but you do get a sense of satisfaction from pushing them down a flight of stairs

Jumbotrons...

just aren’t very ‘jumbo’. Need to add a huge HD screen on top of one side!

They're still better...

…than the old jumbo package….

I say we take a page from the Cowboy Stadium playbook

maybe supported by helicopters…. (ideas are my thing… not logistics)

That looks awesome

I’d love to get to a game there sometime, but i don’t think i can afford it anytime soon. What are yall’s favorite SEC stadiums to visit?

by shaqui chan on Aug 4, 2010 9:48 AM CDT reply actions

I WILL find a way to get there

again this year! Even if I have to sell my oldest child…he is being a d*ck right now anyway!

Seriously, I have an extra savings account that I call my “Alabama Account”. I transfer money into it every paycheck (and have been since the month after the NCG). I have enough saved to book my flight and buy game tickets. Now I am just trying to decide which game to go to…
