Nick Saban: Discipline is to do what you’re supposed to do, when you’re supposed to do it, the way it’s supposed to get done. But, self-discipline means you can do it in any circumstance. Aight, whether you feel like doing it or not. You make yourself do it.
You mean...
You mean you’ll go to your grave thinking you commented on the LSU v. North Carolina thread?

Same deal as last year...
Great offense, shit defense, average-at-best team that will go only as far as the offense takes them and not one damn bit further.

LSU is winning, but it looks awful. How far the Tigers have fallen.
Roll tide
This team will improve in '10... on its 16-16 conference record over the last 4 years.... after losing 20 games in the last 4 years... after having the 7th worst major-conference defense... after not even winning its own division in the ACC in the last 4.

However, NCAA rules are quite clear on the use of redshirt status: any participation in any competition counts as a season of eligibility. For example, even a single play in a football game counts as participation for an entire season, so coaches cannot play redshirt players at the end of a game simply to get them some experience.

Instead of saying "Who's Mark Ingram?"
You should say, “Who’s Malcolm Brown?” Between Trent, Lacy, and even Goode, our RB depth is sick.
"That rug really tied the room together."
Ha! There is serious depth.
I mean, Trent is the no. 2 guy—and he’s out. It’s pretty amazing. I would have never, ever expected this four years ago.
Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world.
Nothing against Goode, but...
… I don’t think there’s any doubt after this that Lacy is the back-up. He looked better running the football and in pass protection.
