His family is well known to me.

I don’t know Coty personally, but I know his uncle and cousin…his uncle is a coach at my hometown HS and his cousin attends school with my daughter. Coty was originally slated to take a scholly to play baseball for Miss St. but decided to stay home and go to JSU instead. He has family ties to JSU as well, so it made sense…but to be honest I have no idea why he was not recruited by Bama. I am thinking that he wanted to be a 2 sport athlete and perhaps that was not an opportunity offered to him with UA.

At any rate, we’re all thrilled at how Coty performed, and JSU is walking tall today. The university is having an inaugural celebration next Saturday to mark the opening of the new stadium and I am betting the place is going to be nuts. It’s going to be tons of fun.

Heard on CSS's "Talking Football" tonight

that JSU’s ticket office was supposed to be closed tomorrow for Labor Day, but they’ve decided to open it due to the rush of orders they’re expecting now. So much for those folks’ day off. LOL

If I'm wearing a turban, it means Auburn is playing Iraq.
