Bill Millin: The Most Complete and Utter Badass Who Ever Lived

This has absolutely nothing to do with Alabama football but I don't really think you guys will mind. Last month an 88-year-old Scotsman named Bill Millin passed away. He was a veteran of the Normandy Invasion, landing with the British units on Sword Beach on June 6, 1941, the only Allied sectors that faced attack by German Panzer Divisions. But Millin wasn't an ordinary infantryman with the Commandos of 1st Special Service Brigade -- he was the brigade piper. And he came ashore playing his bagpipes.
